Former Kaduna Central Senator, Shehu Sani, on Saturday, sent a strong warning to a Nigerian economist and the President of the African Development Bank (AfDB), Akinwumi Adesina, not to deceive himself or allow others do so regarding the presidency in 2023.
On Saturday, A Coalition of 28 support groups, led by Mr Ademola Babatunde of the Youth Arise Movement (YAM), purchased the APC presidential forms for Adesina though he (Adesina) is yet to declare his intention to contest for the office of the President in the 2023 general elections.
Reacting to the news, Shehu Sani via his official Twitter handle, warned Adesina to remain in AfDB and ignore what he termed a ‘lottery ticket’.
He tweeted. “Akinwumi Adesina should not deceive himself nor allow others to deceive him. Remain in that AFDB and ignore that lottery ticket.”
