Banish The Banshee is Isaac Dunbar’s fourth EP, following his 2021 release, evil twin. It is set for release on May 27th, 2022, by RCA Records. The tracklist was released on May 16, 2022, alongside snippets of the tracks on it.

The 8-track EP combines 70s music trends as well as disco beats and guitar which are present in songs like Bleach and Tainted Love.

When Isaac made a post announcing the EP, he explained the term Banshee and described it as an alter ego, which also relates to evil twin.

I wanna introduce you to the creature above,
Banshee. Banshee is a character that i created which is a sort of a “higher self” version of me. a version of myself which i aspire to be. to me, he’s an old soul who’s very wise and discerning. very theatrical, and a comedian. this is a conceptual project about me and select lessons that i’ve learned up until now. growing up is very strange. these songs are supposed to be parables in the form of pop songs… when the record is out ill reveal the actual parables i feel like anvbody can tap into their version of banshee. whatever that means to you.
