Esquemas is the upcoming second Spanish studio album by American singer Becky G. It’s her second Spanish-language project and her third release with Kemosabe, RCA Records and Sony Music Latin and arrives almost three years after her debut Mala Santa. The album was announced on April 20, 2022, alongside the release of the song “No Mienten”.

Rebbeca Marie Gomez (born March 2, 1997), better known by her stage name Becky G, is a Mexican-American singer, songwriter, rapper, and actress. Her musical style is an integration of pop, rap, Latin pop and urban genres.

She gained recognition in 2011 after she posted several videos of herself performing remixes and covers of popular songs on YouTube. In 2014, Gomez had her first Billboard Hot 100 entry, with “Shower”, peaking at No. 16. The song also received a 2x multi-platinum certification from the RIAA.

Becky G became even more successful when she stepped into the Latin music scene. Her songs “Mayores” with Bad Bunny and “Sin Pijama” with Natti Natasha both garnered over one billion views on YouTube and once again caused her to appear in the Hot 100.

In 2019, Gomez released her highly anticipated debut album titled MALA SANTA, a Spanish language album containing more collaborations with other Latin superstars such as Farruko and Sech. During 2019, she also participated in multicultural collaborations such as “Chicken Noodle Soup” with j-hope of BTS and True Damage’s “GIANTS”, a song premiered during the League of Legends World Championship Finals.
